Our Goal

Dunborne provides supported living accommodation to young people aged 16 to 18 years old with emotional and behavioural difficulties due to early childhood trauma and/or complex family needs which make it impossible for them to remain at home. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space in which our young people can grow and prepare themselves for independent living.

The Home

Located in the heart of Paignton, Dunborne is a large, recently refurbished property situated in a lively area.
The property is bright and comfortable with accommodation set over two levels, comprising of three single occupancy bedrooms, a shared living room, two bathrooms with toilet, shower and bath facilities, a large kitchen, a laundry room and a staff office.

The Team

Dunborne employs staff that manage the house 24 hours a day to offer guidance and support, with a member of staff staying overnight.
Staff are supported by a Consultant who is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. 1:1 supervision sessions and CPD in areas such as autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour and Safeguarding etc. are regularly undertaken by all members of staff.
